Application Procedures

The application is available online (see below for link). The student is responsible for uploading all documentation by the deadline.  Letters of recommendation will be uploaded by the referees and they should do so by the deadline as well.

Graduate Student Association

As a graduate student in the Department of Spanish and Portuguese, your membership on the Spanish and Portuguese Graduate Students' Association (SPGSA) is automatic. The role of the SPGSA is very important as the various responsibilities of the association are to represent our specific concerns as graduate students at the departmental, union and university levels. Below you will find a list of Executive positions; usually, Master’s and first-year PhD. students comprise the Executive and realize the events and responsibilities of the association for that academic year although any member of the SPGSA can apply for Executive membership:
