Assistant Professor, Teaching Stream - CLTA - Latin American Literature and Culture

The Department of Spanish and Portuguese, in the Faculty of Arts and Science at the University of Toronto invites applications for a one-year full-time contractually limited term appointment (CLTA) in Latin American Literature and Culture. The appointment will be at the rank of Assistant Professor, Teaching Stream with an anticipated start date of July 1 2024.
Candidates must have earned a PhD degree in Spanish or a related area by the time of appointment, or shortly thereafter, with a demonstrated record of excellence in teaching. Candidates must have experience teaching Modern and/or Contemporary Latin American Literatures and Cultures, and teaching experience in a university-level Spanish language program.
