 CATIA CORRIVEAU-DIGNARD

Catia Corriveau-Dignard is a Ph.D. student specializing in Modern and Contemporary Hispanic Literature and Culture (1700-present). She holds an MA in Hispanic Literatures and Cultures from the University of Toronto and a BA Honours in Hispanic Studies from Bishop’s University, which focused on representation and otherness in Cuban literature. She also has prior studies in Economics (B. Sc., M. Sc. UQAM) and has taught Economics and coordinated student cultural exchanges in Nicaragua, Cuba and Italy. Her current research interests include Latin American Studies, Cultural and Film Studies, Contemporary Spanish literature, and Sociolinguistics applied to the analysis of contemporary Caribbean narrative.
